What's happening this December!
Downtown Cary Ole-Time-Winter-Festival
Downtown Cary will be transformed with fun and entertainment from local performing groups including elementary school choirs, a kid’s zone featuring a Raku pottery making experience, ornament making and face painting plus a roving magician and Santa Claus will be present with a professional photographer.
A panel of judges will be judging gifting trees lined up on Academy St. Judges will score each tree based on Representation of Organization/Company, Representation of Holiday Spirit, Originality & Creativity, and Overall Presentation. The public is invited to cast their vote for People’s Choice from December 7th – December 20th.
Voting will be done completely online! Please tell all of your friends to go downtown and take a look at all of the trees, then select your favorite and go to the following link to cast their vote:

The link, as well as a QR code (for smartphone users) will be posted on each tree sign, as well as on handouts that will be located in small plastic buckets at each end of the street, as well as in some of our facilities.
The winner of the People’s Choice votes will have a $500 donation made to the non-profit of their choice, courtesy of our sponsor, Waltonwood. Other prizes will also be awarded to first and second place trees, based on voting done by a panel of judges.
