Cary Creative Reuse Center

Big News!!!  We are moving back to Cary soon…

We are so pleased to let you know  that we will be back in Cary as a resource and community nonprofit. Our  Home is in Carolina, our Center is in Cary and our reach is the  Triangle Region and beyond!.  ‘C3′ connecting arts and the environment to reduce waste in our  community.

We are excited to be located in Cary  Towne Center – near the carousel and the mall entrance that is served by C-Tran! (former Sears end of the Mall). This location will have outside access for donations of reusable materials and a large retail store  where we will also be holding workshops and classes for individuals and  groups who want to learn creative ways to use these products that have  been diverted from our waste stream and local landfills.

Our time line is to be moving in during February and open for business in March.
We will be an active presence in the community and looking forward to see you at our new location!
We will need lots of help and support during the move and beyond that.. with volunteer help for the move and setting up the new place and to work in the center during Mall hours, with marketing and spreading the word!

A note about the move…

While we are pleased of what the C3 Raise the Roof Campaign accomplished, the collective total is just a drop in the bucket. Commercial real estate is expensive! We need the support of our community now more than ever. As of date, C3 has yet to negotiate a lease with a prospective landlord. However, thanks to one of our generous patrons Barbara Erickson we have been offered a temporary home at the new MARKETPLACE Store By: Gifts from the Heart (5301 Hillsborough St.) We will also be offering a variety of mobile programming options while we are in transition.

We were in a new article of NC States College of Agriculture and Life Sciences -  we were able to donate to a good cause benefiting immigrant farmers.

Recently we were in the Raleigh Walter Magazine in their Whirl feature which is a collection of party pictures from various fundraisers and community events. We were in the September 2014 issue? Pick up a copy today for some fun pictures from the Make Art, Not Waste Bohemian Bash held July, 2014.
